All of Weston is desirable, there are no bad areas. It is manicured.

Some communities are older than others (circa mid-90s vs circa mid 2000s). Some have bigger homes, some have smaller. Some have more expensive homes, some less expensive. Some are townhome communities, some are single family homes.

So if you can swing big bucks for a nice house, then Weston Hills or Windmill Ranches or The Landings may be more desirable to you.

On the other hand, Savanna or The Ridges are middle of the road, with nice homes as well. And Savanna has an amazing pool/clubhouse complex that will be great for kids (including a water slide). The Ridges is a bit more cozy, and has a decent community pool too.

Another factor would be the proximity to schools and your job location. Again all the schools are good, but from the Ridges you can practically walk to Falcon Cove middle or Cypress Bay high.

And if you work south of Weston, then The Ridges is more conveniently located for that commute. Whereas Savanna, The Lakes, North Lakes, The Falls, and a bunch of others are somewhat better situated to jump on the highway going East (to Fort Lauderdale) or North (to Coral Springs or Boca). But not a huge difference, maybe 10 min max.

if you zoom into Weston, FL you can drill down income and racial demographics at the block level on this website. It's pretty neat. The Western most areas nearest the everglades are the most hispanic neighborhoods in Weston.
