Today, Mrs. DeSantis was in Cedar Key Florida, distributing relief funds to aquaculture farmers that were harmed by a tropical storm that passed through there.

If we are going to change the subject, I prefer to shine the light on that instead.

The DeSantis's share compassion for others in all they do. We are so fortunate to have them here in Florida.
People are moving because 1 many already had homes there already and 2 they can work remote to the real paying jobs, the taxes are lower, i'll give you that.

I'm glad the Mrs was in Cedar Key 2 months later but hey seeing her husband was totally mia when Ft Lauderdale and the surrounding areas were underwater.....

He chose to place himself on the national stage and with that we get to rip open the curtains and call him out for the garbage he has been doing, his hard line rhetoric will not be well received outside of the state. Don't like it, then don't post these sugar coated posts that leave reality at the door. His flights from Israel are pure political grandstanding and as I responded to another poster Florida is not the only state sending supplies....

Florida Governor DeSantis approval rating as Governor of Florida is at a 4 year high...+20 as of April 2023.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/n...ida-jumps-poll

He won re-election by 19 pts, so he's still popular here in Florida.

Other large states:

-California's Gov is only +1
-Texas Gov is +10
-New York Gov has an approval rating of only 33%, & I can't find the disapproval figure, so it must be bad.

DeSantis's isn't as high as Glenn Youngkin of Virginia, but still very good.

So glad Governor DeSantis succeeded in bringing Floridians home, when everyone else failed...especially on the federal level. Ask any one of the people he brought home, what they think of Gov. DeSantis...or their friends, and families. the State Department and Embassy wouldn't even answer their phones...nobody home in DC.

But he’s unpopular with Democrats from Virginia.

Ugh..the dreaded "can't rep you again", but that's funny...I don't care who you are.

I wonder if anyone from Virginia was on the DeSantis Angel flight? Wouldn't that be the kicker.

Anyone who does think he's the end all can simple look at it as political grandstanding something he knows how to do, but if you want to worship him have at it....
