Oh well. Pay no mind. We have wars to throw money at.
These people werent part of the war. They were American citizens who were caught in a war. Saving people like this is one thing that a government should do.

"DeSantis signed an executive order on Thursday to allow flights to transport Florida residents in Israel back to the state. The order enabled the Florida Division of Emergency Management to bring Floridians home and transport necessary supplies to Israel"

"Major airlines canceled flights in and out of Tel Aviv after Hamas' attack on Oct. 7."

"Bryan Stern, CEO and founder of Project DYNAMO, the search and rescue non-profit organization that facilitated the flight, told reporters that 270 people were on board the plane."

"DeSantis said that hundreds of Floridians were stranded in Israel and that the state was coordinating rescue efforts with Israel's government."

Agreed, especially the bolded. Any of us would want to be rescued if caught in the middle of a war but I suspect some of these clowns would still complain the entire ride home.

IMO some of these clowns subscribe to the "if you can't say something nasty about ....( plug in name of the object of their hate/disdain), don't say anything at all".

I suspect at least some of those governors wouldn't want to risk antagonizing the Hamas sympathizers
among their state residents. That and/or they just didn't have the cojones to do it.....

DeSantis's PR gimmicks won't get him elected when Americans (Floridians or not) can barely afford rent, insurance or groceries.
The same thing can be said in California

My wife (from Florida) was on one of the last flights out of Tel Aviv before they shut the airport down.

If she didn't get out on that flight, she would have been stuck there.

Its nice to know our Governor would have got her home, had she not gotten that flight.

I love living in the free State of Florida, and our great Governor.

Thank God she made it home. You have a wonderful Governor in Florida. If I could, I would move there tomorrow.
