You mean when he was shipping illegal immigrants out of the state? That experiment?

Reading the posts of the DeSantis haters makes me sick. How pathetic to have such hatred for someone who actually did a good thing for the people of our state.

He won by 19 points. Get over it, losers. You're outnumbered, bigly.

Err no, he shipped them out of Texas, and Florida taxpayers paid for it. They were asylum seekers. He hired people to present brochures to them, promising food, clothing, medical care, housing, and jobs if they'd get on the bus. So they did, and they ended up hungry, sick, exhausted, with no housing, no jobs, no clothes other than what they carried or wore, in Martha's Vineyard. Martha's Vineyard was not given a heads up that these people were being sent there, and had nothing prepared for their arrival.

They were chartered out of Texas TO Florida - on purpose so that DeSantis could justify getting $12million in funding from the American Rescue Plan to transport undocumented immigrants out of Florida. He basically smuggled them to his state so that he could smuggle them back out on the taxpayer dime.

Thankfully, Martha's Vineyard was filled with people who were empathetic and sympathetic to the plight of these asylum seekers, and got them medical attention, food, shelter, social services resources, clothing, and INFORMED transportation to places that were prepared to receive them.

Haters hate...that is what they are told to do, so they mindlessly comply.

If Mother Theresa brought Floridians home from a war zone, they'd hate her too.

Haters make up only 25% of us. The other 75% all know we have a great Governor, & he did a great thing bringing these people home. I think he's looking to bring more home too, so he's not done yet.

We are so fortunate to have Ron DeSantis as our Governor here in FLA. He's also rooting out terrorist wannabe's from our state universities.

If Mother Theresa brought the people home their would be far less concern over her motives or the validity of her statements.

Considering that only 40 of the 270 he flew out at tax payers expense ($15k a head you do the math) were Florida residents it wasn't needed. The State Department has 4000 seats on government charters available but only 1/2 have been used and don't forget the 2000+ spots on the chartered cruise ship. But hey you can get Air DeSantis t-shirt for $28 dollars to show your support.

What's a "terrorist wannabe's"? Is that anyone doesn't think the little dictator is omnipotent and all knowing in everything....

Good and you think he's the only state sending supplies? There are State Department flights available if you want him wasting your states money for a political grandstand then enjoy it.....

How's the states mental health environment, environmental challenges, Insurance rates and his legal bills over Disney. You may condone wasting the money but there are plenty who probally don't

Florida is the state most Americans want to move to, & some part of that is due to our great Governor DeSantis. He showed great compassion bringing these Floridians home, & no detractors can diminish that.

Some will try to divert attention away from what he did, & change the subject...we all get that here.

Today, Mrs. DeSantis was in Cedar Key Florida, distributing relief funds to aquaculture farmers that were harmed by a tropical storm that passed through there.

If we are going to change the subject, I prefer to shine the light on that instead.

The DeSantis's share compassion for others in all they do. We are so fortunate to have them here in Florida.
