well you have to figure....ENSO has been in a La Nina pattern since 2017....that's the past 6 years
..and La Nina's cause drought in Florida....and a more active Atlantic hurricane season
La Nina is finally winding down and we're in the neutral ENSO phase right now.
they are forecasting El Nino conditions by early this summer..... El Nino generally brings above average precipitation...and a less active Atlantic with weaker storms

....the past 6 years have been highly unusual....La Nina's usually don't hang around that long

You get 10 time the rain i do and always will. Never anything on the west coast as it is always inland and moving away toward the east coast. I won't even get 21" total this year. This is 4 years in a row i have had nothing.

kinda....sorta....LOL....it's pretty predictable

La Nina brings drought to Florida......I read that the flow into Lake Okeechobee changes as much as 40% from La Nina to El Nino

we've still got the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation (AMO) to deal with...and it's been in the warm phase since about 1995....it takes decades to change

But Tampa and places inland were way above normal the last 2 summers while where i live had nothing on the gulf.

they're kinda sneaky about that.....they count rain from hurricanes, etc

you know I've been watching your weather....cause I can't figure it out....it will rain right above...or below you

...and miss you entirely...almost every time

LOL! Although I am glad you clarified "West" Pasco. I love East Pasco - used to live in Dade City.

Well you're lucky. Nothing here at the southern edge of Palm Harbor/East Lake.
