Bet they get 100" and our area gets less than 30" again. Get less and less rain each year the closer you are to the gulf.

It rained here about 3AM this morning, pretty hard, with thunder and lightning, my daughter said. Probably didn't last all that long, accumulation reportedly about 0.6 inches. I must have slept through it, I woke up briefly before it hit and saw lightning, but went back to sleep.

You don't count as you avg 10" a week. I don't see any rain for 6 weeks +.You really are a world away from me. Like 350 miles. May is always dry here other than 1979 when Tampa had 17" in two days. No one can't tell me my area does not have a curse.

April and May are dry for most of us in Florida. I haven't had any rain in quite a while, and don't expect any until at least June. That is pretty much the way is always is and is a natural pattern.

At least for now, the weather is still nice, low humidity, and nice breeze not too hot.
