Volley number three is offshore where the elbow is right now 80 miles WSW of Clearwater. The boat i fish on is on a 36 hour trip that left last nite dwight at 8pm. So they are getting rain and i bet the mutton snaps are biting in 180ft of water. Gonna get nasty on the way home as they will fish till 2 am and get back at 8am. As long as they bring back some Porgies i will be a happy pappy. Not sure if you like fish or not but porgies are the best.

porgies are excellent....bony and little tricky to filet though

people down here are way too snooty to fish for them

tilefish is one of my favorites...and we're lucky to have a neighbor that fishes for them all the time

I got a few tiles in 250ft pete. Never really fished the 400ft and deeper stuff for the bigger 1's. There is a party boat out of Keywest that fishes in 300 to 1200ft on 3 day trips that gets them.

I had to slap the steak on the grill 1.5 hours early. I know my boat is getting it bad offshore. The heavy stuff is about where they are fishing now.
