Boston is more important Historicly
the start of the American Revolution
Shays Rebbellion was stopped here
(cause of the consitutional convention)
the Indusdustal revolution started there*
First primary school*
First Public school
First University*
First Hospital*
But hey, Philly boasts the first U.S. Mint, the first Fire Department, the founding of the Marine Corps, the discovery of how to harness electricity, and did produce the actual Declaration of Independence and Constitution as opposed to precursor documents. I'll give Boston 'first public school' as an undisputed first, but the rest of your list is debatable to say the least, likely Philly wins both the Hospital and the University argument.
What Boston cannot seem to get over is the fact that Benjamin Franklin chose to move to Philly.
"Harvard University, founded in 1636, claims itself to be (v.i.) "the oldest institution of higher education in the United States". The claim of being "the first university" has been made on its behalf by others.[4]
The University of Pennsylvania makes claim on their website of being "America's First University".[5] The university has published a book about being the first university in America,[6] and their website contains numerous instances of the phrase "America's First University." - wikipedia

LOL Harvard is 46 years older than Philadelphia.
Slater mill is in Bostons Metro.
The factory system was created on the charles river in Boston/ Watham
The US Constitution is based of of the charter for the Massachusetts bay Colony
Boston also had the first subway in America
First FD in America.
The hospital bit was indisputable, wasn't it. You're still a bit off on the University thing. Harvard = first institution of higher learning (college), but not the first University. That honor belongs to Penn.

ok then, thats a nitpick but whatever, History is one of those things that are a virtual draw between the two cities.
How about "was once one of the most powerful families..."
they still have 1 seat in RI Congress, an oil company for people who can't afford home heating oil
Run the special Olympics, and are crazy rich.
