Sorry N4C -that sucks! I got rear ended by a lady who got rear ended by a BMW on his phone. I felt more sorry for her - she got it on both ends.
Ouch.. ..$5k.. I'm going through their insurance - I mean I doubt $5k will total me unless there is underlying frame damage.. ..but if it does get totaled I'm probably just going to let it go and hold off on buying another car for awhile.

The Wrangler didn't even get a scatch on either side. It bent his license plate a bit, but that was it.

Well it was only a matter of time … three out of four in my household (including me) are sick with covid. The situation in the schools is out of control. If I was going to get it it was gonna be via my kids and sure enough…

Intermittently “meh” and “like crap”.

My youngest daughter who was recently vaxxed seems to be recovering nicely. My husband who is boostered seems to be faring better (knock on wood) as well and shows no symptoms.

Sorry riaelise - it does seem to be spreading like wildfire. Both my grandkids got it and passed to their parents. The kids weren't vaxxed but barely got sick. My son and daughter-in-law had very mild cases and recovered quickly -I hope the same for you.

Hope you get over it quickly.

My youngest grandson (11) was sent home from Zilker a week ago after being notified that he had been exposed to an infected person at school.
He, his dad & brother Were all tested Tuesday. He tested positive, dad & brother negative. He started running a light fever Wed. and felt achy. Yesterday he said he felt fine.... but then again, it was Saturday. Lol

The testing center on S.Lamar is frequently overloaded onto the street for a block or longer.

I’ve been wondering if the new variant has weakened rideshare demand lately. Over the weekend it is very weak, even food deliveries. It may just be because it’s January but not sure.

Hope you get better riaelise … Vitamin C & D will help for a quicker recovery if you haven’t been taking it already.

Did I post here about my experience at a testing site on Montopolis? I sat in line for seven hours, got nearly to the front and bailed when I found out they closed at five. I saw the line yesterday at 9:55, and it was already twenty cars deep. They opened at 10am.

Damned if this doesn't make me nostalgic. Some fun shots of places I had forgotten...and some fashion that should be, as well .

The outbreak is no joke. Two of my last delivery customers have Covid. (I left their items in a safe place for them to pick up).
