Yeah she's a thirsty little machine. The Prius holds 4.4 Quarts. The Z28 holds 5.5 quarts but it eats about 1 quart every 3k miles

The Austin season of ***** Eye is out and I'm really impressed with the diversity of parts of the region that they've been showing. Far east Austin, Canyon Lake (it's not even austin), West Austin, southeast Austin, and of course they take everyone to some place on Congress for no specific reason.

I cracked 78 MPG out of the Prius…

…granted it was all down hill and there were no stop lights

I also found out I’m averaging alittle over 250 miles per day in driving around Austin between weekdays and weekends.

…and… I found out the Prius speedometer is off by 5 MPH or so. I got flashed by a cop while I ‘thought’ I was only doing 80 along the 290E toll road. Turns out I was doing 85.

My Prius is light and after 80 (or what I thought was 80) the wind starts pushing it around…

…The SS on the other hand says y’all Texans need to slow down

50 years ago I inherited my grandma’s 1958 Oldsmobile 88 V8 sedan to use as my school work car.
It got a consistent 8(eight)mpg on leaded premium.

Years ago, I was driving back and forth between TX and GA via I-10 in my Maxima SE. I would often average 90+ mph for hours at a time, but was pretty much going close to the flow of traffic.

The Maxima really didn't like to go below 70....

If I did that in Louisiana today on I-10 I’d likely have a wheel taken off by a pothole long before a cop apprehended me

What a blah day today. I did not appreciate the drizzly rain at mile seven if my eighteen. Oh well.
