A co-worker posted on FB yesterday that her cat of 17 years just passed away from cancer, although that is obviously a pretty long life for a cat.

Pretty interesting, the Starbucks lady's cat was also 17 but died of old age.

You look at things how you see them, N4C. If the cat hair was a sign it was a sign. If you felt a paw, you felt a paw. Meanwhile I think my old lady cat is going to outlive the cockroaches at this point. She had some eye stuff going on and I got a little scared but she had some prednisone and some ear drops and is back to her old whiney self.

Feel free to come over around 9pm when I don't give her the little scoop of wet food I gave her when I was giving her medication. Then ask about who the cat lover is.

Ah come on Ash you gatta do better than that.. ...thats nothin... ..Sacrifice an entire day to make your own cat food with raw chicken, chicken bone, chicken heart, and gizzards, vitamins, taurine and fish oil.. ..then break your hand while doing it.. and still get all 6 of them monsters fed on time (or get your house ran into the dirt by overly anxious felines)....

My friend with the older cat that died is a member of some FB group that makes 'tributes' to cats. This was for hers, your earlier post made me think of it .

This is what I made for Sandy

The verse inspired by all the patience I had to give her when she was unsocialized as it took about a year before I could so much as pet her.

4 new tires, oil change, tighten up rear drums, $400 labor included on the Prius. Not too shabby.

Better than me - new rack and pinion system, struts, shocks, timing belt, water pump, oil change, and alignment - $4,500 on the 12 year old van. On the other hand, that is well under one year of payment and I am expecting the van to last for another five or six years. The dealer has offered a huge trade-in on it (used low-mileage vans in good condition are apparently hot), but not quite ready to downsize or pay for a new vehicle.....
