My neighbor there are alot that aren't leashed for walks but I know they r friendly and my dogs I know won't harm a fly they are very friendly and just wants extra loving from others. My pup she grawls at ppl but she's friendly and loves to jump on people and give kisses but she's also a pup who is learning and she loves to bark at ppl but she is also our protector at night of she sees anything outside she wakes us up with her barking. But I understand your saying it can be scary just walking by not knowing and last yr our dog opened the screen door and didn't know until someone was yelling but my dogs are babies they act like babies wanting attention.
