"Our daughter graduated Furman with high honors."

"I graduated high school." "I graduated college." " I graduated Harvard with a doctorate."

These days there is no end as to how dumb so many Americans make themselves sound -- even after supposedly earning advanced degrees at Ivy League schools.

How difficult is it to remember to add the word "from" in the sentence? Is "I graduated from Harvard" too much for a Harvard graduate to retain in their mind?

If it is, than certainly remembering that "too" should be used to mean "also" or "an excess amount of something", is much too much to expect anyone with an advanced degree to remember.

Are people learning anything worthwhile in school these days?

No, but it might be too much for a Harvard graduate to retain in his or her mind!

Since when is the past tense of the verb "drag", "drug"?

I hate when people say that.

Whatever happened to "dragged"? "He dragged me across the room." You don't say, "He "drug" me across the room," 'fraid not!

The bedraggled druggie was dragged across the drug-strewn floor.
