This was not written by a butcher.
It does, however, force me to ask if my technological ignorance has caused me to miss another new 'cyber' word...meetspace?
This is assuming the person did mean to meet face to face.
Hah, that one was written to ME in a post yesterday or the day before!

I found the term a bit gross, and I do think he meant "meat", as in real life with our meaty carcasses/bodies present.

Ah, I've missed this forum so much. I haven't had nearly enough time for City-Data because of long work hours recently, and I come back and Copanut's thread's been split in two!

I was just watching a news show and there was a guy wearing a T-shirt that read, "I'm silently correcting your grammar". Love it!

Sometimes, Mightygueen, you don't have to travel far to find some good ones.

"I, loathe the misuse of apostrophe's. Call me one of those grammar nazi's but I don't have any clue how so many people missed that one simply peace of information in our grammar classes' which was utilized over and over throughout years of education. It really goe's to show how terrible the education system is in this country. "

Maybe there are times when the focus on one particular error is so narrow that others get missed.

If you'll further analyze that post you'll see it has several intentional mistakes.

+1

I thought it was pretty obvious that those mistakes were intentional, and were placed there for the sake of irony, but perhaps what was apparent to me and to you is not so apparent to others.

"...Has anyone else been convince[d] they were going to die while traveling and found out that it did not happened..."

Paradoxical . With this post, the number of folks who don't reply are cause for concern.

When the deliberate errors are so obvious, I don't think they qualify as irony.
