Not a huge thing, but it really bothers me when the Star Spangled Banner is sung and they mispronounce "Perilous". Most sing "Per-Uh-Lis" rather than "Per-Ih-Lus".
So freaking petty, but it drives me nuts.
Maybe not the correct place to put this, please be gentle with me.
I cringe when I hear the Lord's prayer as, "Our Father, hollywood be thy name..."
A couple went through the drive-through and one of their items was a box of 20 Chicken McNuggets. I was working at the counter. After the couple got their food, the man came back in. He handed me an empty box and said "they didn't give us any Chicken McNuggets!!!"
I was only 16 at the time and I knew the guy was full of carp. There is no way they would have given out a completely empty box.
I think he was actually full of McNuggets!!
To be scrupulously fair, sometimes people write it that way to get past forum auto-censorship.

My "edvise" would be to obey the speed limit and avoid hitting curbs.
