I informed this woman of her "then/than" error. It's on the topic of EDUCATION, after all. I was trying to help her embarrass herself a little less. She posted "then" in place of "than" about ten different times. I got this response:
It really sucks when people have to pick your grammar and spelling apart because they have no other argument. I think you know exactly what I'm trying to say you just don't like what I'm saying. You know what.... now thinking about it life experiences before a degree wouldn't be a bad thing. Maybe less people would waste money and time on a degree they realize they don't want after they get life experiences. But that's a whole different augment.
The "best" part is that a woman who is in my small art group *liked* this crazy, stupid comment! Apparently I have someone in my art group who passively aggressively is letting me know that she doesn't like me!
I never inform posters regarding spelling/grammar mistakes unless it's one of "the gang" here (so it can be corrected before getting dragged in here ).

I don't usually, either. But this woman responded to a post I made, so she engaged me. I was unclear of what she was trying to say, so I asked. As you know, asking for clarity on the "innernetz" is asking for a fight! She also just told someone that she knows she's much, much smarter "then" him.

Has the less/fewer error been discussed here before?

I was going to say something, but figured it might have already been said before. That is such a common mistake, too.
That fat little girl shouldn't feel badly about herself
I always wonder why people think that it's "feel badly." Unless someone's burned their fingertips off, they just "feel bad." It's like they're trying to be all pretentious. Would you "feel madly" about it? Or how about "I feel so sadly about this!" Maybe, "Gee, I sure feel gladly!"
