Today, while watching the movie Patton, I couldn't help but notice that signs referring to the US Army Signal Corps actually called that unit the Signal "Corp".
Although many people seem to think that declining literacy is something of recent vintage, I think that this 45 year old movie provides evidence that improper language usage is not just a recent phenomenon.

i would have went to the school and when i got done the teacher would be scared to open her mouth my kid wouldnt have had to do there work either they would have passed them to get away from me. what was she doing wrong.
