I was in a shop yesterday and mentioned to the clerk that her sign for 'earings' should be 'earrings'.
She shrugged and didn't care.
Since I didn't look in the bin, maybe I just didn't know what was actually being sold.
Craigslist is an abundant source of such bloopers, as is this one for a four-wheeler bike:
HIS HONDA IS AS GOOD AS NEW. EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECT.ALL BREAKS ARE GOOD, ALL BEARINGS ARE TIGHT, ALL RACKS ARE STRAIGHT, ALL PLASTIC IS GOOD.
MOTOR IS PERFECT, NO LEAKS, NO SMOKE, NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER HAS A WORKING WENCH, ALL TIRES ARE GREAT. THIS BIKE WAS OWNED BY AN OLDER MAN, AND IT GOT WHAT EVER IT NEEDED.
Yes, breaks probably are good, if you are an older man with a working wench!
