"wienies" - hot dogs. We had "wienie roasts" when I was a child instead of "hot dog roasts".
"suitor" - a young man who is interested in a young woman and invites her to go places with him; also "comes calling" at her home to visit her; he is most likely interested in marrying her.
"till kingdom come" - forever
"sweetmeats" - a confection of crystallized fruit or other candied tidbit
"weaned" - when a baby is taken off breast milk and transferred to a bottle or a sippy cup.
"cloak room" - the room in school where everyone hangs their coats after they get to school
"a facial" - a beauty treatment to the face; may include a special cleansing followed by a masque and then face creams or more. Today this might be called a "spa treatment" or a "spa facial".

I think "weaned" is still in common use. At least it was 19 years ago when I weaned my daughter.
I bet they don't say "cloak room" anymore. That's what we called it when I was a kid, though.
I mostly hear new moms say their new baby is either "off breast milk" or "bottle fed" now. I haven't heard "weaned" in at least 3 decades.
"penny arcade" - yes, there used to be arcade games that cost a penny to play.
"yokel" or "local yokel" - someone who has lived in a rural area or small town all his life; more or less denotes a "hillbilly". This is in contrast to "city slicker" who is city born and bred and has "big city ways".
I take it back about not hearing the word "weaned" used for 30 years. I HAVE heard it used--just not in reference to a baby being taken off breast feeding. This word is still used in medical circles when a patient is slowly being weaned off dependence on a ventilator--so I did still hear it on-the-job.
