What a waste of time it was for me to even take the test. It was obvious, due to way they score the tests, that the only ones who will be hired are veterans.

It would be interesting to know how many people they've tested so far...
Veterans are given a xtra 5 points. Disabled vets are given 10. I took the test today & only got 11 out of 28 questions correct. With my vet status i got a total of 16. I wont be hired therefore vets do NOT get top priority unless they get a decent score. I was just horrible today. Oh well....

They called me last night for an enumerator position. At this point, I'm working 30 hours a week and can't participate in their 32 hour 9-5 training so I can't take the job.

But, at least they called....

There is a practice test on the website.
It's fascinating (and sad) that $12/hr. now constitutes "good pay".

It depends on where you live/work. In states with higher costs of living like mine, the pay is higher. In places with lower costs of living, such as, say, Mississippi, the pay is lower. I think the range is $12 to $20 an hour.
