Mondays suck cuz I go into day shift mode on the weekends.
Fridays suck cuz I just wanna get home.
I chow on fruit for breakfast...around 10:00am....
My "supper" is at 2:00pm......right before I leave for work.....
Then at "lunchtime".....it's a salad cuz I don't like waiting for a microwave.
The microwave lines are just ridiculous. There are 5 microwaves and usually 2 people behind each one. I would rather pack five PB&J sandwhiches before I wait for a damn microwave.

I got a little container for my salad dressing on the side.
And the public ovens suck. Real fun spending half of my lunch break cleaning up after someone.
Not to mention the guy before me is having sea bass.....
Swing shift is the worst shift ever. I worked that shift for years while in school. You do not have a life. Go to work at 3. I used to eat dinner when I got off work, usually at midnight, you stay up for a few hours, doing nothing, and go to bed.
Life will get better. Some jobs have gone to rotation so people don't get stuck in swing shift forever.

30 minutes isn't enough time to microwave, cook in an oven, let alone cleaning up crap. They sell those salad container nowadays with the side dish for tomatoes, dressing and such. I might have to get one.

We just stopped the rotational thing. The only folks that liked it were the ones stuck on night shift.

I love this shift. Ill stay on these type of shifts for my life if possible.
I can wake up at 10am and do what I want. When I worked first at 6am I could never fall asleep the previous night. 10pm is what gramps fall asleep at not a 23 year old.
I work the pm shift from 3pm to 1130 or it could be until 3am. I cook a big meal at noon which becomes our lunch for work the next day. I usually fall a sleep around 3 to 330 am. Eating a big meal at night is not a good thing. When I worked midnights I would only eat some fruit or some veggies at work. Everything works better with a consistent schedule. I usually have a piece of fruit or some cottage cheese when I come home from work. Eating too much before bed time makes my fat cells too happy.
I worked second for about seven years, 3:30-12:00, I liked it.
When I got home I showered, ate dinner, watched TV and/or got on the computer until about 4:00, I got up about 11:00 with no alarms needed, for lunch I had "lunch" like day-shift people.
I liked second because I had the day to do things like banking and doctor appointments.
I work first now.
