With gas prices and car maintenance prices what they are, you would have to find a REALLY good, higher paying job in G-ville to make that commute make sense when you factor in loss of personal time. Just my opinion.
...wow, you'v dug up an old thread Rysher. I ended up not finding any work in G'ville, and frankly was not motivated to make an hour + commute on a daily basis. I relocated to A'ville in 08 and it took me a little over 2 years to find steady work after a 4 month contract in Raleigh. It worked out in the end, but certainly a cautionary tail for others!
