it was nice on fri, sat and sunday, it was cold yesterday. today is nice but only 23c so nothing exciting.

tomorrow and thusday will only be 18c with clouds and wind
then 22c on friday and 26c on saturday ( but with clouds)

Some have been lucky.. others not so much. But this is just a typical spell of very warm to hot weather - not a heatwave at all. People are just giddy because this year has been so cold.

I don't post the town I live in, either. Just feels like too much information. I've given enough hints that someone reading my posts carefully could figure out the exact town.

That's true, this is totally unexceptional and no temperature has even reached into my top 5 temperatures since May 2010 for goodness sake. Before 2007 every summer, even the "poor" summers of the mid-80's had periods like this.

Yes this is a fairly "normal" summer warm spell here, nothing exceptional, like you say it just feels good as the spring was so long & cold...

I don't see the problem with posting the town you live in, it's not like anyone would know where in that town you lived anyway, we are not giving out our full postal address are we? lol Hell most of us don't even give our names, so it would be impossible to actually find anyone, that's if anyone actually could be bothered or even wanted to...

Thankfully I live in a relatively large city so even if they wanted to try and stalk me they'd have a hard task on their hand with 751,499 other people living here.

I once posted an image taken from my house though on another forum and someone knew where it was - because they live just a few seconds from me! That was a bit weird. I've probably bumped into them before. I might talk to them on a regular basis for all I know.

Even the guy at "Buxton Weather" has an over exposed weather station. He's higher up than I am and has 28 degrees right now, I'm on 24.9.

Saw a black bear just outside my window. Then he walked down my driveway. Was within a few feet of the window. Radio collared, healthy looking, with clean beautiful black coat, mouth slightly open. Walked down the street to get a view of him.

Unhappy I didn't my camera with me, it was in the trunk of my car. Biked around the neighborhood looking for it with my camera. Some locals said he wandered towards a more wooded area. Couldn't find him.

Too bad that they killed all of our bears and Lynxs, Elk, wolves and a whole load of other animals for that matter!
