Was just eating my tortilla chips thinking "these bags seem to get smaller and smaller these days" as they ran out. I looked on the back it says 190 grams and 1000 calories in a bag apparently. Yeah right.

One of the worst cases of media spin I've seen here in Australia was when Mars Bars reduced their signature bar by around 8 grams a few years ago. Note that the pricing didn't change.
Their explanation for the smaller bar was that it was a measure to help tackle Australia's rising obesity crisis, or words to that effect. Not that they were trying to increase profits at all!
