There was a lot of lightning and thunder yesterday, with torrential rain at times. I have never heard thunder as loud as I did yesterday. SeaTac had 1.16" in 3 hours and there were even a few severe thunderstorm warnings throughout Western Washington.

I'm amazed that even Seattle gets far more far superior thunderstorm activity than here.
