With the personality I find appealing. I know there will be several to replicate the looks, but personality usually does not replicate.

When i'm at university I drink far too much.. I can easily get through a bottle of vodka and a crate of beers in a good week!

Since being home I have hardly drunk at all, and even though I go to the gym regularly and am not overweight, i'm losing a lot of weight as a result of it!

Ofcourse I'll still enjoy booze and getting buzzed, just not to the excess I was doing. I would easily kill a case of beer and up to 4 bottles of wine a week. Definitely a heap of empty calories there My aim is to go a month without drinking at all to detox and then maybe have a 6 pack 1 or 2 nights a week.

7 days in and feeling good about myself.
Good job! I will definitely go back to drinking when I go back in september.. but i'm trying abstain from drinking too much now. I didn't realise how many calories are actually in spirits and beers!

Here in the US we call that the Freshman Fifteen, where you gain 1st1lb from the first year in uni because of drinking a lot, and junk food galore

Hahaha that is so true! I think I actually did gain just over a stone in my first year as well! It wasn't helped by the fact that our uni gives us vouchers for buy one get one free at domino's, and they deliver everyday until 5am.. so we would get in at about 3:30am and order from there..

I tend to do a lot of exercise so that I can eat more.. I could never do a diet because I love food so much, but I quite like exercising so I compensate with that instead

Lol yeah. My diet is eating what I like, but in smaller quantities.

Now you feel our pain here lol. Plus with restaurants everywhere, big portions, and McD's on every corner it's hard to resist not grabbing a quick bite. My main issue is everything that isn't fresh is laden with sodium.
