That's encouraging! I'm trying to lose weight, so eliminated booze and have started taking long walks. Did 5km today and aim to do at least an hour of walking a day.
Ofcourse I'll still enjoy booze and getting buzzed, just not to the excess I was doing. I would easily kill a case of beer and up to 4 bottles of wine a week. Definitely a heap of empty calories there My aim is to go a month without drinking at all to detox and then maybe drink a few beers a couple nights a week.
7 days in and feeling good about myself.
Lifting will get you much further than any cardio, whether you wanna build muscle or lose fat. I drink a ****ton of alcohol but manage to stay lean thanks to lifting. Drink spirits rather than beer if you wanna get wasted
Basically just pumping weights, or are you talking about bench presses?
Anything that stresses the **** out of your system and makes you feel like your heart is gonna explode before you can manage 10 repetitions is good your face must look like a tomato while you sound like a dying buffalo, otherwise you're doing it wrong.
Do this a couple times a week, eat a little less crap and I guarantee any extra fat you have will melt like a snowball in an oven. Went from 175 lbs to 150 in a couple of months while getting smashed a good 3 nights a week.
