British tourists only tend to burn more because most do not have to apply sunscreen regularly at home as the weather is more changeable, so it isn't something that most do as part of a routine that say someone from Australia would do... It isn't because British people have lighter skin as many people can get quite good suntans, it depends on their complexion...

Calm your self down.

And we are visiting Universal, Seaworld etc. we didn't book Disney because we all thought it would be too boring.
Looks like you'll be there just in time for the addition of Harry Potter stuff, including the Hogworts Express that'll run between both parks (Universal and Islands of Adventure.) Hope you got tix to both parks.

I'd like to see the place myself, just in a more amicable time of the year, like January.

Its the 6 park combo.

Is there loads of rides there? I love theme parks but haven't been to any in Florida except Rapids waterpark.

Seaworld doesn't have too many rides (unless they've added some I don't know about), but Universal / Islands of Adventure do. Don't worry, you'll have plenty to do at these parks.

Well I love rides.

Disney looks boring and Busch gardens looks so so fun.

My mum was gonna book the flexi pass so we could go between parks but I don't think theres time to.

Oh, Busch Gardens is a blast, if you like rides, that's the place to be.

I suspect the other difference is that a British hasn't built up to it. Exposed only to weak sun and then vacationing in direct strong sun (not just stronger sun, but outside more). Tanning slowing builds up your skins resistance to burning.
