Better morning. 40s!

Current temps at 10,000 feet. These temps at this level doesn't allow the surface to be above normal. It's even below normal down south where its in the 30s at this level over Jackson Mississippi.

Enjoy Fall this weekend folks!

Hold on CFSv2 still warm but GFS backing off on just how warm it will get next week and the week after

latest 10 day forecast from the GFS isn't all that exciting. In fact it brings more colder than normal temps then warmer than normal

Crazy amount of rain in the south of France. Saint-Martin-Vésubie received 500 mm in just 24 hours! Before and after shots:

The European model still has a Better track record than the American model when it comes to accurately predicting the weather.I don’t know why you buy into this garbage, are you looking for something to complain about?.

I don’t know why you give into the American model when the European model is better when it comes to weather predictions. Are you looking for a reason to complain?

In Southern California where I am, it's still triple digits like July right now & who knows when it will finally get cooler this year!

Ideally, I'd love the mid-60s - 70s year-round. I love the crisp, cool, cozy weather & wearing my fall fashions!

Euro had struggled this year especially in the eastern 2/3rds. I think the solution will be something in between the GFS and the Euro. Watch this video from BamWx they put out 3 days ago. They explain the pattern setup and why a blowtorch isn't a for sure thing next week and beyond

Our local weather guru is still saying substantial warm up so maybe Skilling is favoring the Euro and CFSv2

Meteorological doesn't mean much to me. Astronomical is what is the true beginning of a season. It's all about position of the sun and how many daylight hours you get, not necessarily the weather.
