I've experienced a heat burst before - temperature rose somewhere around 10-15C, between about 2:00am and 4:00am, after much warmer temperatures and thunderstorms further south.

Warm and dry today in Fort Worth Texas, with little or no rain for potentially the next several days to a week. Utqiagvik Alaska has had 26 days so far this season with highs at or above 50 degrees, I wonder if that number is anywhere near a record warm streak since Utqiagvik only typically sees 24 such days in an average year and the national weather service is forecasting several more days at or above 50 degrees for Utqiagvik Alaska.

Wildfires arent bad for nature really, just bad for people building houses in areas with a lot of fuel for them.

They do produce lots of gases that don't exactly help the atmosphere.
