27c possible next week, but then back to below average conditions for the rest of the month

Hopefully July will provide something more seasonable.

It’s been a colder than average summer thus far in the Indianapolis area as well, is the solar minimum to blame

I see a 26C on Wednesday and a bunch of days with 22C which I would imagine is near average. Then it does drop to 20C for a few days too

We were about 10 degrees farenheit below average today. 71F at MDW, 70F at ORD, and 69F at IKK.

There's a swath of storms headed in my direction

Omg will it ever stop raining. Look what's coming. Poor farmers can't buy a dry day to plant their crops!

So far we've had 7 days above average and 8 days below with the departure from normal being -1.0F at ORD and actually exactly normal at IKK not including today.

All this rain due to the historic low solar activity?

No. Stuck high over me is the reason.

^^^^^^^^^

Still doesn’t explain all the extra rain outside your corner of Florida though.

Sure it does my man. The high was pushed a little bit and a stuck front over FL is the reason for the southwest flow bro. I went from 3 weeks of not a drop bop to near 6" since last Fri. Now this last Fri and today i have been dry and that is fine with me. I hate to get rain all at once and then go weeks with nothing.

Back to a east flow Sunday and back to a west wind later next week gator. Last June i saw all my rain in the first part of the month and not a drop the last half and July was very dry. Once the 21st gets here all the rain goes away for the summer it seems.

Now it has removed any warm spell, with temperatures average or below average.

Summer 2019 just doesn't want to start. No settled, dry weather like you'd expect.

Here's the temp departure for 1st two weeks of June. The only place it was above normal in the Lower 48 for the 2nd week of June was the West coast.
