Wonder what 80s and low dews feels like. Hard to come by here. I guess because we need thatg south push to get the heat up here which means humidity as well. We get dry dews when there is a NW or W flow. Which generally means no heat.

Current surface map... So nice to see that cold front way down south. . I'm gonna have a nice cigar outside this evening.
Yeah nice to have a break from the typical summer heat and humidity.

Forecast lows tonight. Hoping it ends up getting below 60F here. Some cloud cover coming in which would prevent it from getting as cool as it could.

The pattern will change once the high moves north, which would allow return for the normal east windflow.

Cool summer and warm winter? HECK no. Last winter was a fail except for January. Summer 2018 was nice but our highest temperature was 99 F / 37 C.

Highest temperatures the past 6 years (2013-2018) have all been 96-99 with the last 3 years (2016-2018) all hitting 98 or 99. Cut the horse crap and hit 100 already.

That high has been locked in for years and with a heating planet it will stay stuck most of the time for years to come.

Check out the temps at 10,000 feet. It's basically snowing above Missouri right now (above 7000', lol)

That huge area below freezing is going to push east and be over the Northeast Thursday. NICE!

Enjoy next 5 days, it's gonna get hot and humid next week.

Southern Midwest and Southern Plains going to get soaked yet again

https://twitter.com/MJVentrice/statu...05954507235330

We MIGHT get some above average temps beyond the 19th but no heatwaves by any means. Of course that's subject to change. We haven't been able to sustain any long term warm pattern here since the month of December.

Forget 90 degree temps, we can barely buy an 80 degree day here.

Very true.

Midwest farmers however, aren't seeing these rains as a treasure right now.

ORD"s seven day forecast. It's a treasure if you like cool weather and lots of mosquitoes.
