Was on the lake all day today. 98 degrees not a cloud in the sky. The cold front is coming in now though, a tornado warning just popped up.
Most impressive thing was San Francisco hit 92 today. The dry season is back. Oddly enough, LA has been spared, this heat wave is limited to northern CA. Sacramento will be 103 tomorrow.
I’m on vacation in St. Augustine, Florida, and it’s been pouring the rain for the past couple hours. Dew points were around 75F today, which is oppressively humid compared to what I normally experience at home.

Inland SoCal had some real heat today, Riverside hit 104°F, 19°F above the average high of 85°F. And that was after a seasonal low of 59°F (only 2°F above the average 57°F), so quite the diurnal range today!
Bone dry is sub 40 to me. 40s is dry and 50s are humid ;p
40s today and 31f peaklow dewpoint during the cool 82f day.
Hoping we go back to the 30s with this heatwave!
Hey, if you want to live on a lake out here, look into millerton and coarsegold. There's some good housing next to a lake in those spots, not too pricey and commutable to north Fresno. Cheers

I'll take this spell of 70s / low 80s (forecast high temps for Nashville, TN per Wunderground through June 10-18: 80, 78, 81, 77, 81, 86, 85, 83, 83), probably about 1 degree cooler in my neck of the woods, but with June temperatures before this cool wave being near average, I'm hoping for a serious heat wave with temperatures in the mid-90's for a few days by the end of the month to balance things out.
Let's see, my ideal average high temperature in June is 87 for Nashville and N'ville is averaging 86 so far. To balance out that cool wave forecasted, another 9 days in June would need highs of 94, 96, 93, 97, 93, 88, 89, 91, 91 (not necessarily in that order) and three 90's to finish out the month. Seems doable.
maybe some warmer air by next weekend? No heatwaves by any means. Just hoping for at least NORMAL temps at this point
Wished the cool would skip you and only come to FL.
