Horrible for farmers in the Midwest though. Those cooler temperatures are going to make it harder for the ground to dry up so that crops can be planted.
Had 1.30" of rain since yesterday evening. Might get a good bit more overnight.
Seems like the worst flash flooding usually occurs from the Houston to Beaumont area. Flash flood warning for Beaumont right now for up to 6" of rain. Radar estimates of over 12" of rain southwest of Houston.
It was 70s here at midnight and its such a warm morning still! Wow. Soil temp jumped to 71.2°. Cucumbers gonna wake up now

Friend of mine is moving to Houston from this area. Gonna be a shock for them.
