It would be awesome for me to never see a 80+ again. Just can't buy a drop of rain. Some rain on the coast north and south of me, but never where i am.

Latest CFSv2 has a dagger of cool temps in the heart of June for a huge chunk of the country




Euro also showing widespread cool temps in the 11-15 day



Bastardi said this summer is starting to look a lot like 2014 and 2015 for CONUS. Both were lame a$$ summers here. 2014 had an incredibly cool end to July. Record cool in fact...


And the Euro already showing that the forecast is indeed a cool one for July.




Very cool along the lakefront with temps hovering in the low to mid 60s, but reaching the low 80s in the suburbs over the next few days

Las Vegas had their first 100° reading of the year yesterday with a high of 102°F (Avg High was 96°F)

Here in Phoenix, we had our first day that wasn't below average since May 16th, with a high of 102°F and a low of 76°F

Look on the bright side Chicagogeorge, a cold summer just might equate to an even more severe winter season than last year for the Midwest, it appears temperatures have peaked so to speak at least in the Midwest and local temperatures are about to take a nosedive.
