Quebec was cold until mid June so even solar wasn't going to warm a pool.

Solar is effective in the South for spring time pool heating as well as fall pool heating. Summer pool heating is never necessary in the South.

yeah people have them but I don't want them panels on my roof cause my friend did it and he got major water problems coming thru roof after they installed them. he had all kinds of wood rot in his attic and didn't know it. not installed properly or something. that was here in Philly when the state govt was giving $10,000 state grants.

Some of friends have it. They place black pvc tubing in a coil type formation on the roof of the house.

Roofs are generally black tar asphalt shingles so they get very hot.

IKK finally hit 90 degrees today. ORD and MDW just missed it at 89F. A bunch of our western suburbs got into the low 90s too.

The high here today was around 80F, with sunny skies and a dew point in the upper 50s.
