With half of August done here is what the temps look like. Nothing to write home about. The high amount of sunshine levels have made it feel warmer though.
ORD and MDW both have had an average high of 85.4F as of the 14th, but MDW's average low is 67.8F while ORD's is 65.8F reflecting MDW's more urban environment.
There's a discrepancy though with IKK's data. The Mesonet data is different then what NWS/Chicago is showing. Wonder why?
Warmer muggier temps making a comeback for the second half of August
Hazy hot and humid yet again today in Fort Worth Texas, I leave to go back to Indianapolis tomorrow afternoon. Fort Worth saw its first significant rainfall in about a month yesterday morning, and according to the weather channels’ forecast, no rain is in the forecast for the next week in Fort Worth. Highs could reach or exceed 100 degrees late this weekend or early next week in Fort Worth; meanwhile there is a chance that Indianapolis could tack on a couple more days of 90+ over the next week.
Göle had a low 6.1°C today, which was the lowest temperature recorded in Turkey today while Cizre had a high of 45.9°C today, which was the highest temperature recorded in Turkey today.
Been very cloudy and rainy most days here in FL. Sure is rainy for a sunshine state lol. Winds have been coming from the west lately vs the east, making it a lot more humid. For some reasons it's more humid when winds blow in from the Gulf.
Humidity has been pretty insane the past week. Savannah had an 80 F low yesterday morning. 77 F low here.
This morning was almost as warm. Low of just 74 F.
