Looks like the area with the driest anomaly is only a few hundred miles to Indianapolis’s southwest, and I have a feeling that this winter will be way colder than what is shown on that map.

FL will be super dry and warm like fall thru spring of 2016-17. Already almost no rain for any of Oct.

At least CA and southern OR look very wet. Drought is still getting worse today.

Regarding the upcoming winter for the PNW.... something akin to 06-07 wouldn't surprise me

Stop posting this bull**** and then perhaps the eastern two thirds of the continental United States might stand a chance of having a warmer than average winter.

I’m hoping for a cold winter, but not super cold. Don’t you live in Texas half the year?

Yes, I live in Texas a few months out of the year due to family being there, and even Fort Worth Texas gets cold enough for me in the winter, I am SO Dreading this upcoming winter because some winter seasons in Central Indiana feature crazy cold temperatures, which is beyond the limits of my temperature tolerance, North Texas gets plenty cold during the winter, at least in my humble opinion.
