Currently, here in Aurora, Me..55F Degrees Dew Point 46F Degrees, Winds NNE 7mph..
Clear...
Awoke to a chilly morning (didn't check the temp but we haven't turned on the furnice yet, so it was 55F Degrees in the house)...
Drew the drapes and there was much steam on the windows...cranked on the propane heaters to take off the chill and watched the sun rise...Crazy Squirrels are out again...going for every seed they can find under the birdfeeders...
Received our morning entertainment watching a fat one trying to scamper up the greased pole..Startled that one later (much slimmer), managed to make it up the pole - time to regrease!
Watched amusedly as a Squirrel sat in one of the trees nibbling on a corn-cob ( thought it was an old one), until later when I visited the lower garden (and the amusement ended), to find a trail of husks, cobs and bits of corn-once-on-the-cob..in the GARDEN to various trees....
Little Buggers raided the garden (which is fenced)!
Neighbor says it's most likely Racoons, however, we haven't seen sign of them....
Anyone seen this mornings gfs? Bastardi has been talking about how he believes this is a year for a socal landfalling hurricane and gfs portrays one less than 10 days out?

Yeah, It has not one but two potential storms for the area. Crazy.
Was about 48F(9C) outside and it felt nice. Eveyone said it was cold. It was about 10pm btw.
