I see some in the BC mountains. Skiers are going to be happy with an early start for once.

Tornado outbreak in Ottawa-Gatineau on the Ontario-Quebec border about 2 hours ago. Fairly major damage. High school on fire among other things. No reports of injuries yea or nea yet.

I got off easy with a gazebo destroyed and one tree down.

The tornado seems to have passed about 1-2 km from my place. So we escaped the worst of it.

Currently here in Auroa, ME 58F Degrees, Dewpoint 53F Degrees, Winds NNW 13mph...Cloudy...
A Wind Advosory is in effect until 8:00 am Saturday...
Winds SW 20-30mph - With Gusts up to 45mph..
Tonight into Saturday morning....
Didn't have to turn on the airconditioner last night, but I still didn't sleep well (you know how it is..too cold to get out of bed and get that extra blanket and just warm enough to burrow), due to lack of extra body heat from the other side of the bed..
Awoke to a FAT, greedy, squirrel gobbling EVERYTHING in sight under the birdfeeder (couldn't climb the pole because I greased it for entertainment) and the Nuthatches darting from birdfeeder (with a seed) to the Lilac Grove to eat in peace)...Remembered to remove the hanging flower baskets, before I left for work, in case they may come off their hooks and become a missile at one of the ancient windows and explode.
Commute home from work was plesantly uneventful and safe...Lights blinked for a moment (causing me to have to reset three different digital clocks (the most important one COFFEE), upon returning home, but still able to heat the rice-socks for the foot of the bed in the microwave (water-bottles can leak)!
Belloved is returning home tomorrow...can hardly wait to have his presence beside me on this land and once again share these moments together....
