Just drove INSIDE that line. Crazy! Bolts all around me, rain drops the size of marshmellows and blurry windows from the heavy rain, flooding in spots.

Over 1.3" within 1 hour. temp went from 91 to 72 in minutes.

Radar Loop with Temps past 4hrs. 1:45-5:45pm September 6, 2018.

Temps dropped from 90s to 70s in minutes. 1-2" of rain within an hour. Lightning all around.

Listen to the sound of the rain drops! Wasn't hail. It was the edge of the line and it got more intense but size got smaller as I entered into the line. Lightning got worse.

High was just 69F at ORD today. MDW 72F, and IKK 73F. Cloudy most of the day but now breaking for some sun. Temperatures will hover around this for the next 3 days

This could become a major problem for the East Coast

Welcome back.

Lightning shows long island getting slammed. I bet those flat lying areas are getting deep flooding
