Major rains coming just to the south of Chicago thanks to Gordon

then we have Florence to worry about potentially impacting the Southeast

and then? Back to summer with an expansive 594mb over the Midwest

I think I might be under one of those blue bubbles on the map of projected paths for Florence.

Yes! Give me a major rearrangement please. After the 12th I do see subtle changes. I just need a deep trough right now. Just 1. Give me a cool break.

Florence can stay the **** away from me. Irma was bad enough last year.

Currently 73, with a high of 81 today here in the ozarks. Dp is sitting at 68. Today looks to be the last of the 80's for us this season. Crossing my fingers. I'm ready for some crisp cool fall weather.

Too much uncertainty as to where Florence will go right now.

As for Gordon it's remnants are coming up into the Midwest.

Wowbelow freezing temperatures above 5k already huh
Meanwhile, the National Weather Service has hoisted frost advisories and freeze warnings for Northern Minnesota. I wonder if maybe my ultra negative prediction of an early cold onset of winter just might be coming to fruition.

I’m not buying any of the hype about the remnants of Gordon impacting Indianapolis and much of the Midwest, the latest radar loop does not look that impressive AT ALL. I don’t know why the computer models are showing the potential of several inches of rain when the radar is underperforming big time on both intensity and coverage of rainfall.
