Those little cells are dropping a ton. But very scattered around. One area not getting rain while another flooding.

Feels like Upper 90s here at 6pm.

Yes exactly. No widespread storms, but these cells are intense if you're under one.

The O'Hare area was just under one and flood the expressways around it.

Currently here in Aurora, ME...75F Degrees, Dew Point 68F Degrees, Winds WNW 8mph...
Twas a lovely afternoon here at Birch Meadows...The Chickadees graced us with their presence (truly they do not show-up too often), the Nuthatches were seen seekng their Sunflower seed and all the other lovely SCB (small chirpy birds), were seen and enjoyed at the birdfeeders!
Charley-Z (the Chipmonk with the crooked tail) and his friends showed-up to beg (even resorting to jumping upon my knee to get my attention), for their daily feeding...They've been receiving MUCH less cause of the season and also because of Beloved's impending return to the Meadows...
Corn is ripening, need to pick some more greenbeans..tomatoes are astounding and the cucumbers, well only one can hope (except for the gleaning from the neighbors)...
It was steaming sitting outside on the front porch watching all the crazy tourists come and go...
Discovered we have some Monarch Butterflies (TO BE), chomping on the milkweed across the road..Don't know why I thought we were too far North for them to be interested!!!
School teacher showed me (a school is right beside us)! I tromped further into the field to get some leaves (for her captured Monarch catipilars in the class)..
What a wonderful evening...
Still, though, long for my Beloved's return!
Hope you didn't have to work on this Labor Day...Rest here, was surely gratifying!
