Looks like a Vancouver snowfall. Snow is basically concrete and a pain to shovel.

40s again today, March 8, but we're getting a bit of overnight snow and the sun's going to come out. Winds of 15-25 mph (25-40 kph) all day though...

I guess I'll wear my Honda hoody again.

Yesterday from Majdanpek (eastern Serbia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majdanpek), an unusual phenomenon - snow on the ground and strong rain with thunder in the same time

An intense, but short burst of snow overnight and temperatures in the 20s caused major havoc in Indy this morning! We got maybe a half inch but that and the sudden cold temperatures created a lot of ice on the roads. At various times 3 interstates in the metro were shut down due to multi-vehicle accidents this morning and the commute is still very slow going. I don't think they were prepared for this as the NWS was calling for flurries to end at 7PM last night and then just cloudy. We got another quick burst this morning during the morning rush hour but things seem to be slowly improving now.

Oh man... I shoveled a ton of cement today. A good sore but so tired. Long day I can't wait to catch up on what this storm did...and still doing to Maine.

Upper Level low over the region causing snow squalls and showers to North Carolina mountains.
Jet stream pushed down south.

NorEaster still off coast of Maine.
North Atlantic Blocking has proven what it can result in.

I am so done with the dig. Ready for spring now.

Finally 60s in Florida on an afternoon with sunny skies.
