What are the analogues for this year so far and upcoming summer?

I bet we will have a shocker yet again.

This winter seemed comparable to the winter of 2002-2003; and here, the summer of 2003 was a scorcher (mainly July & August, June was normal)

2003 was average in Jan and Feb, then March/April were sunny and warm.

2018 had a mild Jan, a cold Feb, a very cold and extremely cloudy March and first half of April.

Of all the years, this one seems most like 1949 but with Jan and Feb flipped. Jan that year was cold, Feb mild, March extremely cold and cloudy, then it warmed up in mid April (the April record was set then).

I am 100% certain that this summer will be worse than 2003.

Is Pittsburgh getting snow again right now? WTF?! I'm overwhelmed by the records and stats. Even Montana having a historic snow season.
Yes, added ANOTHER 1.1" to my total

Today was the hottest April day in 70 years in England and I couldnt be happier
Often we don't even reach this sort of temps in July, yet alone mid April

We reach this every summer, multiple times.

This is not what I meant. I'm saying that typically its around 18-23c during summer with a few hotter days here and there and few colder.

28-29 is considered a heatwave in England (and way above avg) in July so for April its extra crazy

3 Maps..

2:30pmEST. I cannot believe its mid afternoon and only 40° here.. The consistency is nuts.
Least number of days above 49°F this spring since 1975. Normal is 60° today.

And snowing in areas of PA, NY and mountains of Vermont...during the day..in April.

Wish I was in Sunny 60s Virginia again. I'll take sun and 50s at this point and for more than 2 hours please.

Nice 80s in the Southeast. Not many areas above normal today.
