In southern wisconsin, it's very cold for only having a little snow. There's maybe 1 inch on the ground at best. How much colder would it be with a thick layer of snow, 3-5 degrees colder?
Check this out at 6200' in New Hampshire.

It is brutal here this morning. -15ºF, but it definitely feels worse (I mean, I dunno, can it feel worse?? Do you notice much of a difference between -15 and -25 lol???). No wind yet, hopefully it stays that way....

Really cool map, like that one! I must be in one of those white patches, it's -1°F right now!

Woof, thats cold haha. Bought heavier gloves because the coldest skiing I've ever done in SW PA was -8, definitely looks to be colder than that this weekend.

Bring those hands and feet warmers. They work incredibly well! Trick is to open them before you're exposed to the elements.

My house is popping but not like Feb 2015 where even the trees sounded like they were gonna explode. Lol

Next shot (while still cold already) looks to be reaching further south but probably moderate a lot by time it gets to the gulf states. Havent checked .

I second the hand/feet warmers...they are a life saver when you're out for a while!
