1.5" snow melted to 0.08" liquid. That's 19:1 ratios. Slightly lower than this morning.


A lot of people out and about I forgot tomorrow was NYE. They are food shopping, I figured it wasn't because of 2" of snow. lol

'Nother nice 60 minute hike thru the trees yesterday.

Air temp -26C with -39C windchill.

Quite a few people out walking with their dogs and lots of birds to see.

For New Years, my girlfriend, dog and I went out to our remote cabin in the woods to escape fireworks. There was a lot of snow there. At least above 70cm.

Flowing rivers thickening up here now. Still wouldn't walk on it yet though.

New year in Cyprus.


The water in the sea was in fact better than I had excepected as the forecast was rather modest. WO says even that the water is 21c. Maybe it even was, there were pretty many bathers for a non-season.
