NYC has an average forecast while im record cold for the next 10 days....
I feel your pain, I am SOOOO dreading what this winter has in store for the Indianapolis area, it’s looking increasingly likely that this winter will be worse, perhaps much worse than the winter of 2013-2014(Record cold and record driest), this outcome would especially suck given the super lame summer we experienced this year, at least in the Indianapolis area(I don’t know what kind of summer the eastern u.s. had but I heard it was warmer relative to averages than it was here).

Coastal Maine first to get snow vs coastal NH/MA/RI/CT, just not sure how far to the coast the snows are going.

Radar Loop 1:45-5:45pm.

Icons showing who's reporting what. Portland airport (PWM) showing light rain still but I think the suburbs is light snow. Sanford, Maine went from rain to sleet to now light snow

That MIGHT change though. Depending on where the coldest core will be.. Another big blast coming next week

Latest GFS says the core stays south of us.. I saw 50s on Long Island today BTW.. only 45° here but felt like Spring. lol

The weather outside is horrendous right now. It's so windy and dark with heavy rain and it's not even 4 pm.

It looks like a hurricane and a tornado at the same time right now At the same time, just 100 miles east is completely sunny. What a difference a mountain can make.
