We had some light rain today with temperatures in the upper 40s. It's been cloudy most of the day. In Kansas it's even been snowing. The fall foliage has been moving along fairly fast because of the cooler weather, but every day from tomorrow until Monday the 6th is currently forecasted to have highs in the 70s, which might slow it down some.

Funny how the landscape looks noticeably greener after that storm, the winds stripped most leaves from the trees that were turning, now it’s back to like 75% green.

Yeah, I got pockets of bare, Pockets of green, and mostly dull colors hanging on. Horrible Autumn for colors. But the grass has been painted. Instantly greened up thanks to past 2 storms. Bridgeport 4th wettest October thanks to last 2 storms. I ended up with 5.71" for the month

I didn't believe it till I checked. Guess I didn't expect it. Radar and temp loop last 2 hours. Accumulat4ed in Nebraska

And here's the Upper Heights and 850mb temps. Jet hasn't lifted north but interesting how suppressed it is across much of the country.

No additional freeze threats in this region till after 1st week of November.

Meanwhile kids are trick or treating in the snow in Kansas City. Wonder if crop season ended across Nebraska and Kansas City. Wonder when I'll have a day staying in the 30s.

Topeka Kansas reported 0.4" today. 9th snowiest October on record. lol
