Currently here, at Aurora, ME, 38F, Dew Point 32F, Winds North 2mph, Clear!
The Birch Meadows are covered with frost this morning! Our first hard freeze! Still reluctant to turn on the oil furnace - Warmed up with propane heaters again this morning!
Cool, you're in the WNY southern tier....Buffalo TV channels broadcast area,
they all di weather forecasts for the six western NY counties, including the county you're in,
Allegheny County. I try to watch all 3 weather forecasts daily, Channel 2 NBC,
channel 4 CBS, and channel 7 ABC, their weather forecasters are good,
very thorough, with usually a separate forecast for the Southern Tier, farther south
but due to higher elevation, having colder temps. Cuba, NY, for example is at 1,500 ft above sea level.
Cool info. And I'm learning about this area now. Interesting spot. And its 10 miles outside the Lake Effect snows so they miss it majority of times.
